Check out “Snapchat” from J’Moris

Welcome back to a bonus edition of NERDO DOES Music. On this installment, we cover “Snapchat” from prolific Fort Worth hip hop artist J’Moris. This guy’s got a voice like Biggie and a smooth southern drawl to go along with it, giving him an endlessly fascinating presence on the microphone. His music is fun and visceral. J’Moris doesn’t give a fuck, adopting a clear two middle fingers in the air philosophy.

The rapper is crushing it more than ever on his new 4 track EP entitled “Snapchat.” It’s a Tremendous record, filled with great flow and awesome beats. If you’re looking for something to listen to in that area, J’Moris has definitely got you covered with “Snapchat.” Check out that EP and more below.

A little background on J’Moris. He’s a self dubbed “product of environment.” He’s always been drawn to music, finding it to be tremendous escapism. J’Moris came into his own, having seen some rough stuff. Born in Fort Worth, Texas during the 90’s exposed J’Moris to a lot growing up. The drugs, pimps & thugs flooded the streets.

“My family moved to Hillsboro texas to try and get away, but to no avail. The crack epidemic consumed Hillsboro also. Watching my loved ones fall victim to the drugs or the streets, I felt he only had one choice. Use them both to My advantage & find a way out. My older brother, Crunch, looked out for me alot. He never wanted me in the streets but he also knew the outcome was inevitable. He showed me how to finesse the game more, how to be apart of the game but also be hands off.. Unseen.. The lessons he taught me molded me into who I am today and also gave me the opportunities to graduate high school. Something he, or my little brother J Hodge, never did.”“I tell God to watch out for me while I chase the route of evil…” (from ‘Extra’)

Here he is now, dropping loads of music in 2019! Hope you enjoyed this piece of it as much as I did.
