Ram Gopal Varma is the maverick that all budding film-makers look up to. The never say die director is back with Coronavirus, a  Bollywood Psychological Thriller movie that will be available exclusively on the RGV channel. The movie is exactly what the title suggests. Its about a family that suspects one of the family members is positive for Corona. The trailer is classic RGV and will impress the RGV fan as well as the horror movie fan. The camera angles and the basic DNA of the movie seems very similar to the classic RGV Bollywood horror movie, Bhoot.

This is the first movie that’s has the Coronavirus as the main point. Earlier, the trailer of a short movie based on the isolation that everyone experienced made its way to YouTube, Phobia. The trailer of that movie also hinted that it will be a  Bollywood psychological thriller.

Ram Gopal Varma was the ultimate word in the nineties when it came to Bollywood horror movies and Bollywood crime movies. His movies like Satya and Bhoot and Sarkar changed the genres of crime and horror. Since then, RGV has tried to recreate the magic in the world of streaming, but has achieved little success. His debut short movie, Main Sunny Leone Banna Chahti Hoon was last to audiences.  He has another project in place, Climax.  The trailers are available on his official YouTube channel.

I am sure, this is not the first and will definitely not be the last movie based on the virus to hit the theaters or even a YouTube channel. To clarify, Ram Gopal Varma is not the director of the movie. Agasthya Manju directs this Bollywood psychological thriller.
