The Invisible Man Super Bowl Spot Is Here

The Invisible Man is Blumhouse’s horror release this month. With so many horror concepts back in the remake region, we’ll be seeing many Blumhouse concepts in the coming months. The movie,  this time around, is the story of a relationship gone wrong. And then, the man learns a trick to become invisible and stalks his ex.

The Hollywood horror-sci-fi movie stars Elizabeth Moss as the scientist trapped in a relationship. Oliver Jackson-Cohen is the man who turns into a stalker. The rest of the cast comprises of Harriet Dyer, Aldis Hodge, Storm Reid, and others.

The original novel, by H G Wells has become fodder for several Hollywood horror movies. The first such horror movie hit theaters in 1933.  Then, there was a 1958 TV series of the same name. That one spoke a bit about espionage as well. Since then, concept was part of several horror concepts, including the 1969 Telugu movie, Sabash Satyam. More recent was the 2000 horror movie, Hollow Man, starring Kevin Bacon.

Bollywood has also taken a stab at the concept of the Invisible Man, with several movies like Mr. X in Bombay (1964), starring Kishore Kumar as the man who wasn’t seen. Then, in the seventies, we also had the Vinod Mehra starrer, Elaan (1971) and the more recent Bollywood sci-fi movie, Mr. X.

Blumhouse’s The Invisible Man hits theaters February 28, 2020.
