Edward Christopher Sheeran an English singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer. He’s latest album released name ÷ (Read as DIVIDE) which debuted at number one in the UK, US and major other markets. In New Zealand to promote his new album X, which is released on June 20, Ed Sheeran drops by Ferndale’s bar and restaurant The IV for a spot of local hospitality.

2. Undateable

Undateable” is a situation comedy about a group of single friends in the Detroit area, based on the book “Undateable: 311 Things Guys Do That Guarantee They Won’t Be Dating Or Having Sex” by Ellen Rakieten and Anne Coyle. The series is executive produced by Bill Lawrence (“Spin City,” “Scrubs,” “Cougar Town”), who is a friend of Sheeran’s.

The story goes like this:
Justin’s bar becomes a major spot for a local music festival, and Danny and Justin compete with each other to date a backup singer who is in town. The singer ends up going out with Candace’s ex-boyfriend Trent, while Candace develops a crush on Justin. Shelly serves as a waiter for a few days to prove that Brett’s lack of tips is due to his personality, not the stinginess of the customers, and a competition between the two ensues for who can get the most tips. Multiple guest stars make an appearance, including Ed Sheeran, Kate Walsh, Victoria Justice, Minnie Driver, Drew Pinsky and several actors from Scrubs (Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Christa Miller, Scott Foley and Neil Flynn).

3. Home and Away
Role: Teddy


Home and Away (often abbreviated as H&A) is an Australian television soap opera.
He played a role of ‘Teddy’, a singer who Marilyn Chambers (played by Emily Symons) used to look after when she lived in the UK. In a short clip to promote the episode, Ed is seen walking into a cafe in Summer Bay as he reunites with his former nanny.

4. The Bastard Executioner

The Bastard Executioner is an American historical fiction drama television series, created by Kurt Sutter and aired on FX from September 15, 2015, to November 17, 2015. This series is being billed as a blood-soaked medieval epic that tells the story of a 14th-century warrior whose life is forever changed when a divine messenger beseeches him to lay down his sword and lead the life of a journeyman executioner.
He played a role of Sir Cormac, an ambitious and deadly protégé of a high-ranking church elder.

5. Bridget Jones’s Baby

Bridget Jones’s Baby is a 2016 romantic comedy film directed by Sharon Maguire and written by Helen Fielding, Dan Mazer, and Emma Thompson, based on the fictional columns by Fielding.

Story Line:
Ed Sheeran plays himself in the third Bridget Jones movie, which is why his presence leads to an awkward moment for the clumsy heroine. Bridget accompanies her friend Miranda (Sarah Solemani) to one of the most significant annual music events in the United Kingdom, the Glastonbury Festival. They have a run-in with Sheeran in a bar and don’t recognize him. They realize their mistake when they catch his set, becoming finally aware that they made fools out of themselves in front of a hugely famous singer-songwriter.

6. Game of Thrones: Dragonstone
Role: Lannister soldier


Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss.
Story Line:
Ed Sheeran plays a soldier from King’s Landing, part of a small group in transit in the woods. The lyrics are from a song that appears in George R.R. Martin’s source material, the Song of Ice and Fire books: “For hands of gold are always cold, but a woman’s hands are warm.”

Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) is attracted by the sound and ends up sharing a meal and some homemade wine with the friendly men, including Sheeran. They chat innocently with her, not knowing her identity, nor believing her when she says she’s heading to King’s Landing to kill Queen Cersei Lannister.
