No Toll before Yellow Poll

Vehicles at Toll plaza will now be allowed to go free of charge in heavy traffic congestion. Public Works Department (MSRDC) minister Eknath Shinde (@mieknathshinde) assured the council to direct such rules to all toll companies across the state.

So next time if you stuck at any toll plaza at any entry point to Mumbai because of heavy traffic congestion, chances of passing free of charge is possible now.

Paying Tax is not a problem but waiting for hours and hours in a queue is a bit more problematic, so very good step is taken by our MSRDC minister Eknath Shinde(@mieknathshinde) to have hassle free entry to Mumbai to reduce traffics near toll.

Thanks to Congress legislator Sanjay Dutt, NCP legislator Vidya Chavan demanded that the vehicle should be allowed to leave without the toll plaza during heavy traffic jams as this adds to the misery of the people.

In Assembly, Eknath Shinde announced to introduce the e-Toll system at all toll plaza in Mumbai along with utilization of parking bay during emergencies.

ITMS – Intelligent Traffic Management System is also now introduce by our Government in some of the major Toll plazas. So Toll plaza like Worli-Bandra Sea Link, Mulund and Airoli toll nakas will be equipped with the e-toll system within 4 months.

I am little surprised why this useful information was not shown on any of the NEWS channels across India. Such a bold decision is appreciated by every one of us. Any thoughts on this to share. Please be free to comment below.

So Mumbaiker be aware of this Yellow Line and shares this information with many others.
