In August, a number of films like OMG 2, Gadar 2, Jailer, Heart of Stone, and Dream Girl 2 will be available in theatres and on OTT platforms. This month’s film schedule promises to be exciting for both fans and viewers.
OMG 2
OMG 2 stars, including Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi, and Akshay Kumar. Pankaj (Kanti Sharan Mudgal) is portrayed in it as a follower of Lord Shiva. Akshay will play Lord Shiva in the Movie. The movie is marketed as a metaphorical follow-up to OMG – Oh My God, which came out in 2012.
Gadar 2
The movie, directed by Anil Sharma, will open in theatres on August 11. Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma appear in the movie. Sunny will reprise his role as Tara Singh in the movie, and Ameesha will play Sakeena. The turbulent Crush India Movement of 1971 is depicted in the teaser, which highlights Tara Singh and Sakeena’s legacy. To protect his son Charan Jeet Singh (played by Utkrash Sharma) from the Pakistani Army, Tara travels all the way to Pakistan.
Heart of Stone
On August 11, Netflix will release the action-thriller movie. Keya Dhawan will be portrayed by Alia Bhatt, and Rachel Stone will be portrayed by Gal Gadot. Heart of Stone, directed by Tom Harper, and features Jamie Dornan. The main character of the movie is Rachel Stone (Gal), a highly skilled spy who is also a covert member of the Charter, an organisation that uses cutting-edge technology to combat possible threats to international security.
Dream Girl 2
On August 25 the film sequel to Dream Girl starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday will be released. An array of extraordinarily gifted actors, including the famous Paresh Rawal, Asrani, Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi, Seema Pahwa, and Vijay Raaz, add to the comedy ride in this film directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. Ananya will play the part of Pari, and Ayushmann will play Pooja.
Ghoomer
The R Balki directorial will debut in theatres on August 18. The next sports drama will feature Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami. In Ghoomer, Saiyami plays a paraplegic athlete who thrives as a cricketer under the direction of her coach, played by Abhishek. Her story is one of inspiration. In crucial roles in the film Ghoomer, Angad Bedi and Shabana Azmi also appear.
Jailer
The next Tamil film, written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, will open nationwide on August 10. Rajinikanth, Tamannaah Bhatia, Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Dr. Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan are among the cast members of the prison film. Jailer’s producing company is Sun Pictures.
Bholaa Shankar
Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Keerthy Suresh play the main characters in the upcoming Meher Ramesh action comedy movie. Tamannaah will play the lead role in the film, which is being produced by Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments, and Keerthy Suresh will play Chiranjeevi’s sister. Sushanth is playing the part of a loving boy. The movie is scheduled to premiere on August 11.
Akelli
Akelli, starring Nushrratt Bharuccha as the lead, is a heartbreaking story about a girl who, due to her circumstances, slips into the trap of a hazardous world and her subsequent struggle to escape. Pranay Meshram is the director of Akelli, which is also produced by Nitin Vaidya, Ninad Vaidya, Aparna Padgaonkar, Vicky Sidana, and Shashant Shah of Dashami Studioz. Nishant Dahiya, Tsahi Halevi, and Amir Boutrous are also featured in Akelli. It is scheduled to debut on August 18.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem
The movie, which is being helmed by Jeff Rowe, will debut in theatres on August 4. Nicolas Cantu, Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Brady Noon, Jackie Chan, Ayo Edebiri, Seth Rogen, and John Cena are among the cast members of the movie.
The Last Voyage of the Demeter
The movie will debut on August 11 and is directed by Andre Ovredal. Aisling Franciosi, Liam Cunningham, David Dastmalchian, Chris Walley, and Corey Hawkins are among the cast members of The Last Voyage of the Demeter.
