It’s that most awaited time for which all were impatient for, the Oscars! The coveted award function will be held on March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles ans thereafter will be available to be streamed in India on March 13 early morning. Oscars 2023 across the globe will be broadcasted at ABC while people in India can stream it on Disney+ Hotstar and other social media platforms. 

According to the People Magazine, Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting the event marking his third stint to the grand gig. He successfully hosted the show in 2017 and 2018. Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall were the hosts for the least Oscars.

The prestigious Oscars will be presented by Deepika Padukone, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Troy Kotsur, Jennifer Connelly, Samuel L. Jackson, Melissa McCarthy, Zoe Saldana, Donnie Yen, Jonathan Majors and Questlove.

Keeping aside Lady Gaga’s performance, this year all the Oscar nominees for the best original song will be performing on March 12. As per Variety, the songs performances include Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava (Naatu Naatu), Rihanna (Lift Me Up), Sofia Carson and Diane Warren (Applause), Stephanie Hsu, and David Byrne and Son Lux (This Is a Life).

For India this is a magnificent year at the Oscars. Bagging three Oscars Awards 2023 nominations. RRR for the Best Original Song Naatu Naatu, which also received the Golden Globe Award in the same category earlier this year. Shaunak Sen’s All That Breathes for Best Documentary Feature Film and Guneet Monga’s The Elephant Whisperers for Best Documentary Short.
