Yeti Airlines crash: 72 people onboard, 68 deaths reported

A video clip is now going viral on the internet which is shot using a mobile phone claiming the last few moments of Yeti Airlines before the crash. The fatal mishap took place in Nepal’s Pokhara, has now gone viral on the internet, however the authenticity could not be verified yet. According to the reports, 72 people were on-board, while 68 have been reported dead.

The video features a plane which have lost its control, it is flying very low, tilting towards at the mid-air, and then suddenly hits to the ground with a massive thump.

The twin-engine ATR 72 aircraft is run and controlled by Yeti Airlines. The aircraft was flying over Kathmandu in Nepal and crashed within 20 minutes post the take-off, just before its landing scheduled in Pokhara.

Report states that 15 foreign nationals, including six children, were on the flight. Amongst them 53 were Nepali, 5 Indian, 4 Russian, 2 Koreans, 1 Argentinian, and one passenger belonged to Ireland, Australia, and France each.
