Pakistani teens who evaded homes to meet BTS were found in Lahore

Two teenage girls, aged 13 and 14, from Pakistan’s Karachi’s Korangi who were reported missing, have been discovered by the Police. On Tuesday, police averred that the girls were spotted 1200 km away from their home in Lahore. According to a report, the girls evaded to meet their idol K-pop group BTS in South Korea. 

The Teens or as popularly known as army were not found in tier city on Saturday, mentioned senior police superintendent Abraiz Ali Abbasi. During the search operation, the officials found a diary which included their plans to travel to South Korea and meet BTS.

“From the diary we saw mentions of train timetables and that they had been planning to run away with another friend of theirs … who we then interviewed,” CNN quoted Abassi. “We started tracking them aggressively and found out they were in custody of the police in the city of Lahore where they had traveled by train.”

Thereafter, Abassi urged people to “monitor their children’s screen time”, to have knowledge and keep a check on the content they are viewing on the the internet.

BTS enjoys popularity globally including Pakistan, the group consists of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope,Jimin, V and Jungkook. The group is now focusing on the their solo careers and will unify in 2025.
