Audiences are satiated by Bollywood blogs and care less about films says Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor

Actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor tweeted about the mindset of audience who are more concerned about the dating status and personal life of an actor which focusses ‘less about films’ and more about actors’. In line to this the actor also showered his words of appreciation for Rajkummar Rao, Human Qureshi and Radhika Apte who will appear on Monica, O My Darling. 

Replying to a tweet done of the content creator of the film Anmol Jammwal, Harsh Varrdhan tweeted, “It’s become more about where your seen who with what you eat and who you date then the body of work sadly.. audiences are satiated by Bollywood blogs and care less about films in my opinion..”

“Monica is brilliant and all actors are amazing .. vasan is amazing.. hope millions watch,” he further added. Helmed by Vasan Bala, Monica, O My Darling is a crime thriller with a tinge of dark and comedy. It released on the OTT platform of Netflix and gathered fairly positive response.

Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor is the son of ace Anil Kapoor and Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor and producer-stylist, Rhea Kapoor’s brother. Before the actor have mentioned in a micro-blogging site that how the Hindi Press have tried to provide an incorrect synopsis of his journey so far.

He mentioned, “On my birthday I’ve seen many articles about me from the Hindi press where the summarise my journey so far.. instead of focusing on the merit of films like bhavesh joshi ak Vs ak ray and thar and the uniqueness of the journey all they talk about is the box office of bjs n mirzya.”

He further took to Twitter and said, “It’s almost like they are completely blind to any sort of creativity courage or quality or and only judge an artist by money made.” Harsh Varrdhan believes that this type of tendency will certainly set “the precedent for the future generations.”
