Mohanlal’s Monster faces a setback at the Gulf

Malayalam movie megastar Mohanlal who have been occupied in his next feature film Monster, have received a major setback after the film was pulled off from the theatrical release in the Gulf. The censor board has rejected the launch as the film could not meet up to the structured format of the system. As mentioned by the board, the film contains some content related to the LGBTQ and thereby the clearance has not been provided. The film will be supposedly released on October 21 across the world.

According to the media reports it has been found that the filmmaker and his team are working towards the content rejected by the board and is intending to re-submit after making the required modifications. Meanwhile, it has been also speculated that the filmmakers might need more time to make the changes, thereby the film’s release might get delayed.

Monster, a Vysakh directorial is backed by the script writing of Udaykrishna. This trio has earlier delivered a superhit film named Pulimurugan which earned a whopping Rs 100 crore overseas. The film also features Lakshmi Manchu, Lena, Honey Rose, Siddique, Sudev Nair, K B Ganesh Kumar, and Jess Sweejan.
