These 10 Superhit Films Based on Real Incidence Featured False Facts

Film Padmavat is suffering controversies since the day it was announced. Now, the censor board permitted it to release on January 25. Well, it’s not for the first time when a movie courted controversies. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is accused of changing real facts in the Film. It is not for the first time when the original film was changed or tampered with wrong facts. There have been many films before this, in which it has been done. Readout:

1) Gandhi (1982)

Directed by Richard Attenborough, this film had many factual mistakes. For example, the Kolkata riots shown in the film happened in 1946 instead of 1946. Apart from this, Gandhiji’s best friend Hermann Kallenbach has been shown alive in 1947, while she died in 1945. Not only this, during the freedom, the national flag was actually hoisted at midnight, while in the movie it was shown in the day.

2) Bajirao Mastani

The film is based on Marathi Peshwa Bajirao and Mastani’s love story. If we put an eye on history there is no record of their core romantic relationship.

3) Jodha Akbar

The film is based on the love story of Akbar and his Hindu wife Jodhabai. But according to the history, he married Jodha in order to make his political tie-ups strong. Apart from Jodha, he had many wives.

4) Mohenjo Daro

In this film, a ruthless king Maham has been shown ruling. But in reality, there is no proof in the history that Mohenjo Daro was ruled by any king or queen.

5) Asoka

Korvaki has been shown as the princess of Kalinga with whom king Ashok fell in love. in actual, she was a fisherwoman who followed Buddhism.

6) Bhagat Singh

Both the films made on Bhagat Singh that featured Bobby Deol and Ajay Devgn respectively have shown him as a romantic guy who sings songs. It was nothing like that in actual.

7) Chak De! India

Shah Rukh played the role of Mir Ranjan Negi, a former hockey player and coach of India’s women hockey team. According to Mir Negi, he was never the big hockey player rather he was the part of management.

8) Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

In the final race, the announcer told that its Gaddafi Stadium. As per the facts, the race was held in 1960 when this stadium was called Lahore stadium.

9) MS Dhoni

The film didn’t narrate the role of Dhoni’s brother Narendra. Dhoni’s brother Narendra is Ranchi’s famous politician.

10) Airlift

In the film, every government agency showed negligence on the plight of Indians. Indian embassy had shifted to Baghdad overnight as shown in the film. But during the 1990 Gulf War, the ambassador gave shelter to 900 Indian people in the embassy.
