People admired her for her melodious voice. The lady got an opportunity to sing a song, Teri Meri Kahaani with Himesh Reshammiya. She also got many other big singing offers.
Well now, Ranu has recently made some shocking revelations about her life and her connection with late Bollywood Actor Feroz Khan. In an interview with IANS, Ranu revealed that she wasn’t born poor but was born in a well-off family. “I wasn’t born on a footpath. I belonged to a well-to-do family but it was my destiny. I got separated from my parents when I was just six months old.”
Ranu revealed that she and her late husband were a domestic help at late actor Feroz Khan‘s house years back. She said, “We shifted from West Bengal to Mumbai after marriage. My husband worked at filmstar Feroz Khan’s house as a cook. His son Fardeen was in college at that time. They used to treat us very well, like family members.”
Ranu also clears air on Salman Khan gifted her a house
There were reports about superstar Salman Khan that he gifted a house to Ranu Mondal. On this, she said, “I haven’t met Salman till now. But his movie ‘Tere Naam’ is very good.”

A software engineer Atindra Chakraborty who lives in Ranaghat made a video of Ranu singing a song Ek Pyaar Ka nagma Hai on the railway station and put it on social media. the video went viral and she became a star overnight. Atindra is with Ranu since she shot to fame.
