U x Me‘ hitmaker Joey B is currently on a media tour promoting his Darryl EP.
The award winning musician whose latest EP Darryl charted at number one on iTunes stopped by 3 Music Network to chat with Official Kwame and Chris Kata about creating music, living under the spotlight and making money from music,.

“UxMe and Tonga are the most streamed songs of mine on Apple Music. The guy who handles my account calls me to tell me he has 20,000 for me, another time he will say 30,000 and I will be wondering how that happens so fast.”

Talking about how much money made from having some top 10 songs on the platform, Joey B detailed;

“With this Darryl EP which went top of the iTunes chart. if the guy hits me up, I would get at least 7,000 because the project is too fresh. The EP has been out for like a week. If you want to make crazy numbers, you have to wait for some months. When you top the chart and drop, you will make some money but if you top the chart and trend for sometime then you know, you are going to make some good money.”
