In The King of Skulls, the heroes must defeat an ancient undead lord from the past. Undead abominations are attacking the coastal area near the capital, Crimsonwall. No one understands or can explain why he is back. When the heroes come to investigate Fisher’s Cove, one of the affected locations, they meet Urko, Buncan, and Tila. The three friends can’t explain their presence in this timeline either but they all want to help and stop Skulletor, the King of Skulls.
This is an Adventure that brings the heroes to the King of Skulls’s lair. They will have a battle of epic proportions and they will meet Hu-Man, the strongest mortal in the universe. However, the final battle features a black hole whose job is to turn things back to normal and remove all intruders from this world.
This adventure has been designed for Shadowdark RPG through their 3rd party license. The system is meant to be accessible to OSR players and modern players alike. Adapting the material to 5e or other systems should not be difficult.
