Three Portland Nominees have made the list.
As expected, the James Beard Foundation has announced the finalists for the Restaurant and Chef award categories. Here are the results for Oregon:
Outstanding Restauranteur of the year Portland nominee:
- Akkapong “Earl” Ninsom – Langbaan, Hat Yai, Eem, PaaDee, Phuket Cafe
Best Chef Northwest and Pacific:
- Thomas Pisha-Duffly – Gado Gado, Oma’s Hideaway
- Carlo Lamagna – Manga
Winners will be celebrated at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards ceremony on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
