Seven Small Homes Constituting the Tower House by Andrew Maynard Architects

Two children asking for a place in which  ‘community, art and nature to come together’. That was the starting point of Andrew Maynard Architects, architecture bureau that realized seven small homes constituting the Tower House, a beautiful ensemble with a unique approach.

In the Tower House, the composition has been sought to be a home internally and a village externally, shapes constituting a whole in which everything is connected. In tangent areas hidden sliding panels are diluting the limits, allowing spaces to connect.

The concept of the homes has been detailed  here.

The limits that appear clear in the ensemble`s exterior have been erased completely inside giving birth to an interesting contradiction that offers a great experience to the inhabitants. What do you think about this beautiful ensemble? We would love to hear your opinion on the subject in the comment section below.
