Feng Shui Water Features

How many people would move an entire pond to make sure their Feng Shui was the best it can be?

That’s exactly what two lovely clients of mine did in Suffolk last weekend, and here are the work in progress pictures and a video of a beautiful natural water feature we installed.

According to my Feng Shui methodology, the existing pond was causing severe problems for the man of the property, and indeed the previous guy to live here had been gravely ill… Active water or worse, stagnant water (which is what the old pond was) in the wrong direction can cause terrible sickness, bad luck and bankruptcy. Having seen the fate of the previous owner, and also having had direct experiences of positive energy changes after applying my Feng Shui tips, Richard and Juliet were keen to take my advice on board again at their new home – even if it meant completely moving an entire pond! And not inconsiderable expense…

I love dedicated clients like this, which is why I trek all the way to Suffolk to see them (!) as I find it so satisfying to work with people who really understand how important chi energy is and why Feng Shui is so helpful.

What I also enjoy about working with them is how much they care about the surrounding wildlife and have been painstaking about moving the wildlife safely, and also involving their two sons, who of course have named half the creatures! They also loved the idea of the Flow Form water feature I supplied them because of the lovely yin yang sound but also the way the swirling of the figure of 8 motion of the water cleans and aerates the water, which will keep the pondlife healthy. They are such thoughtful and considerate people.

In the photo above you can see me stood in my Hunter wellies ankle deep in pond water, measuring out the precise energy direction ‘kua’ which is a very precise angle out of 360 degrees of the Feng Shui compass.

And here is a video of the beautifully rhythmic FLOW of the new water feature. Its got a little bit of mud in it but that will clear out, and I can’t wait to see it established with some reeds and pond lillies etc. It is going to look beautiful. And sound even more wonderful…I call these water features ‘auditory sculptures’ due to the deeply therapeutic sound they make.

Here’s what Juliet had to say about her experience of working with me and Feng Shui.

“Despite being a very pro-active and optimistic personality, I felt really out of sorts at our old property so I hired Sarah to help me create a better feeling in the space. She explained how the female energy was really compressed and blocked (which is exactly how I felt all the time) and set about creating a strategy to change the chi and re-orientate the property energetically. Without studying the subject for years like Sarah has, its really hard to make sense of Feng Shui books etc, so I trust Sarah’s experience and have continued to hire her to help us with the selection of a new home, optimising the rental property we lived in for 8 months and our business premises.  Every time we make a change based on her recommendation we feel a positive lasting effect.  It might sound simple, but these small changes have profound effects over time, our business continues to expand and we are again looking for larger premises and will commission Sarah to help us optimise the design of the new layout. Highly recommended.

Thank you Juliet – I really enjoy helping you and your lovely family, and I especially love travelling the depth and breadth of the UK and beyond these shores to provide Feng Shui consultations for people who ‘get’ the importance of classical feng shui AND the importance of working with a very experienced consultant.
