I attended the Opening Gala of this annual showhouse last evening which was presented by Hamptons Cottages & Gardens magazine. Designers Jamie Drake and Alexa Hampton serve as the Honorary Design Chairs, and twenty designers hailing from around the country transformed this custom home and all in support of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. This year Cavallo Builders created the newly constructed home which is located on an acre just minutes from Southampton Village. It's important to note that over the years, the Showhouse has raised nearly $2M for Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. How to visit the Showhouse- it is open for public tours beginning Sunday, July 23, through Sunday, September 3, Thursdays through Sundays, from 11 am to 5 pm daily (last admission is 30 minutes before closing). Children six and under, infants, strollers and pets are not admitted in the Showhouse. Admission to the Showhouse is $40 and includes a copy of the Showhouse Journal.
