LAMPS PLUS-- With just a quick click of the computer keys, it's easy to shop this large lighting retailer (the largest in the U.S.). Several of my design clients do their own research and shopping, and come to me with ideas and sources. Lamps Plus is certainly one of the top sources my clients utilize, and it often becomes a great to start to our design process. Lamps Plus carries thousands of exclusive designs, and it's an easy to navigate site. At KBIS, there will be lots to see from the company-- in the Salon by KBIS there will be a tented space outside the South Hall, The Lamps Plus Pros booth will showcase chandeliers, ceiling fans, bathroom wall fixtures and outdoor lighting with new LED lighting displays in many design styles. Additionally, portable lighting will be on display at the New American Home 2019 in nearby Henderson as well. Did you know Lamps Plus also makes gorgeous tufted sofas?

for artisan-made sinks, I head straight to THOMPSON TRADERS and they make gorgeous hand-hammered sinks in their family-owned facility in North Carolina. They are the largest copper sink manufacturer in the States. The owners are a mother/daughter team and originally hailing from Mexico, so they naturally bring that hand-made sensibility to their products, however, all products are manufactured in the United States. I am smitten with these Farmhouse Sinks with the beautiful textured finish...
1. Nickel Lucca keeps its lovely sheen (no patina here)
2. Toscana Black Copper with a black finish- will patina over time
I'm looking forward to learning more about WELLBORN CABINETS' Wainscot paneling. I especially love
to use wainscoting in areas to a beach houses and/or
cottage to help create a cozy nook, and bring architectural detailing
