Fireboy DML is a rising star in the music industry. He was born on February 5th, 1996, to parents who had ambitions for him from an early age–and it paid off! He is signed to YBNL Nation, an independent record label founded by Nigerian rapper Olamide. His debut studio album Laughter Tears and Goosebumps was released in 2019. Fireboy is the oldest child of three — his younger siblings are all boys. However, Fireboy’s family life is relatively private and there isn’t much information available about him or them as he has never married or started a family yet at just 25 years old!
Adedamola got his Bachelor’s degree in Arts. He says he didn’t come from an artistic family but learned how to sing early on and pursued music as both career and passion after college when it became clear that this would be what made him happy rather than some other path offered up by parents or society at large.

Fireboy DML is a rising star in the Nigerian music industry. His breakthrough single “Jealous” first appeared on YBNL Nation’s collaborative album YBNL Mafia Family (2018) before being re-released onto iTunes 25 March 2019 with added features such as Cracker Mallo who produced this passionate song about love that combines traditional drums and percussion together with elements from other genres like country or soul rap depending on what listener prefers most out of each individual track–a mix so unique you’ll be hooked by its very first listen!
Fireboy DML released his new single “What If I Say” on 14 June 2019. The song is produced by Pheelz and has an interesting mix of percussion, ambient synth harmonies with a drum riff in it! He also directed the visuals for this one. Fireboy’s love interest is featured in an accompanying music video for “King.” It contains images of him singing at a fashion show where models walk on the runway, and by his car with petals adorning it.
Fireboy DML’s debut studio album Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps is now available for purchase! This 13 track project doesn’t feature any guest artists; it has amassed over 6 million streams on Spotify three days after its release.
The album was met with generally positive reviews from music critics, but it has been criticized for being labeled an “Afro-Life” record instead of just another R&B album. LTG’s previous singles were supported by this release including “Jealous” and “What If I Say”.
On 17 August 2020, Fireboy released his second album entitled Apollo. The 23-track collection features a mix of songs by artists such as Jon Bellion and Passenger with old classics from Wande Coal to make it an all around great listen for any fan!

Fireboy DML has a sound that is described as “Afro-Life” and he writes songs which audiences can relate to. Alphonse Pierre of Pitchfork characterized it as “slow-groove pop”. He explains,
