A home Office can be one of the most important rooms in a house, but it often gets overlooked. As a place of work, home offices are often cold, bland and uninspired. Here’ are a few tips on how to make a more creative, inspiring and productive space.

1. Lighting

   Getting adequate lighting is essential to getting inspired. Positioning your desk in front of a window would be perfect as it maximised natural light to your workspace. Check out this beautiful example below:

3. Inspirational artwork

   A Gallery wall is a popular home decor element in living rooms and hallways, but why not add it to your home office? Gallery walls are a great way to add interest and personality to your workspace.

   Inspirational quotes might seem cliche, but they really do work! A popular home office trend at the moment is to display inspirational images on a clipboard. It is a simple but quirky idea that is really effective.

   To make your space a touch more personal, put up some pictures of your loved ones so you always feel supported, even if you’re working in your office alone.

4. Mood/Vision boards

   Having a slow day? Lacking motivation? Why not make a vision board to keep you on track with your goals? A vision board is a collage of words and images that make you feel positive and empowered.
