All white isn’t boring in this stunning attic space! The exposed wooden beams contrast against the white walls. The bed is adorned with gray bedding and a black painted built-in bookshelf grabs the viewer’s attention. Instead of keeping the floors a natural wood color, the designer has painted them white to keep the attention on the beams in the room.

An attic space is open and inviting with large windows. Wooden floors are kept light and not too dark so that the entire space feels open and inviting. The only black used in this room is the inside of the windows and the mounted art above the gray bed. White window covers make it easy to shield out light when you’re needing more shut-eye.

A favorite accent is the glass separator that divides the bed and the master bathroom. A freestanding tub and rectangular white sinks give this space a modern flair.
Architect: PL Architekci

A clear acrylic lamp and black framed art piece balance each other out.
Even though the only orange item in this room is the throw on the bed, it immediately grabs your eyes! The simple bare wood of the walls is perfect because of the triangular architectural details crawling up the them. The white floor extends to the bed and the headboard. Textures are kept simple to draw attention to the accent wall.

Built-in storage is a must when you have a strange shaped room like an attic. The white closets and drawers help keep clothes and accessories organized and out of sight. The natural wood of the bed works well with the gray reading lights and light wooden floors. If you look closely, you’ll also notice the two lights hanging from the ceiling which have yellow cords.

The visualizer Yuriy Bobak decided to illuminate the architectural detail in this attic bedroom. The beam that runs the width of the room has under lighting. This gives it an ethereal glow. The bed is kept low to the ground and white. Storage items, like baskets and white boxes are used as nightstands and organizers.

Don’t be fooled by the black and white artwork hanging on the back wall of this attic! At first glance it may seem like a window, but it is not. The window in the space is located on the left wall. Canned lights can be moved to fit the owners needs at the top of the room. Closets are kept white and closed to hide contents while the bookshelves are open and show off a fun collection of books!

The beauty of the blue sky is highlighted in this chic attic bedroom. A bachelor’s paradise, this room has tall ceiling and oversized windows. The bed is black and matches the black of the inside windows, the black art above the bed, and the black storage on the right wall. The light let in by the windows also adds a fun texture on the bed and on the floors. Skinny, narrow black metal lanterns give the room a masculine energy.
Everything above the bed in this attic bedroom is white and simple. Once you get to the bed-level you’ll see a gray block design and wooden shelves. A purple rug brings a little bit of color to the room and the repetition of the block design is mimicked in the built-in storage closets on the left.

Wood walls don’t make this bedroom look dark because they are lit up by the large angular window. The white platform bed contrasts well with the wooden accents and matches the modern floor rug. A quaint desk is tucked away in the corner, which makes this attic feel feminine and delicate.

Every single thing in this attic is a light wood grain. the only things that aren’t are the bedding, which is neutral, and the lamp shade. The result? A room that feels as if it is blending effortlessly with the outdoors. The simple windows give glimpses of pine trees outside and the rest of the room seems to have been designed around them.
Moody and dramatic, this master suite in the attic is a penthouse of sorts. The walls are white near the windows but the ceiling is a dark wood. If you look further into the room, you can see the bathroom is hidden behind the black closets. The freestanding stainless steel tub is private, thanks to the wall, but also benefits from the natural light. A red lamp adds a striking color contrast.
Although this is an attic bedroom, there are stairs that lead to another space in the home…upward! The chalkboard-like black accent wall behind the bed offers some diversity among the white accents. The “Y” shaped beams make the room look architecturally interesting. Lastly, the strange looking brown chair gives the room a whimsical and historic feel.
With the curtains closed, you can tell the main point of focus in this bedroom is not the windows. The cushion-like base of the bed seems to be the focal point. White wooden beams cross across the top of the room and an intricate rug holds everything together. Visualizer Tuisuz embraces gray and makes it look layered in this room.
Feminine and airy, this attic bedroom plays on the colors fuchsia and purple. The closet is white and the walls are white. The only colored accents are painted on the built-in shelves, used on the headboard, and bedding. A metal lamp reflects the other colors and shines on the angled wall.

Bright and white, the only thing holding this attic bedroom down is the dark hues of the bed and the chair. The ceiling comes together like the shape of a barn and the windows melt into the walls with their white shade. A small window ledge showcases art, books, and natural colored items. The few furniture pieces that are in the room are streamlined and dramatic. The light, bed, chair, and wooden side table are kept near-to-the-ground to contrast with the tall ceilings.
This room is much more than just a place to sleep. As you can see, there is a space to work and a couch for entertaining. Although this room is perfect for a teen to escape to, the design is sophisticated enough for an adult. Beams cross through the space and the exposed brick make it full of character. Lighting above the window on the bookshelf adds a modern twist. Another cool aspect is the mural painted near the bed.
Sometimes an attic isn’t too easy to renovate. That doesn’t mean it can’t be a cool outside space. This attic doesn’t appear to be used for all seasons but is used as a hang out when the weather is nice. Cone shaped, the windows are cut out of this room at random and art is hung in-between the rafters. This space reminds one of the room in The Little Princess, only nicer.

An attic doesn’t have to lack unique lighting! The globe lights hanging from the ceiling give this attic an updated style. Two-toned wall paint also carries the trendy aesthetic. Again, the focus in this space isn’t necessarily the window, but the red couch and unique white beams on the ceiling.
This orange attic is bright and full of cheer! Window coverings match the furniture throughout the room and also allow for privacy. The art pieces incorporated feel Asian-inspired and add a different style layer to the room. The blue painting in the hallway works well with the other orange accents.
Look closely at the left of the windows and you’ll see a built-in that lights up a small bonsai tree. This accent clearly suggests to the viewer that this room is dedicated to being a zen space. The bed is made of the same wood as the floors and the inside of the windows. With bare colors and even less accents this attic bedroom is a place to think and meditate.
The beauty of designing an attic space is working with the interesting shape. In this attic, the designer embraced the shape of the ceiling and built in two twin beds and a window seat. By painting the panels, the eye is drawn to the unique architectural detail that inspired the built-ins. There’s also some hidden storage under the seats which is perfect for sleepovers and a kids room!
