Rich Brown and black accents create a sleek aesthetic inside these two luxurious modern home designs. Large, open-plan living spaces create an instant impact upon entering the homes. Chic, linear sofas and stylish design lounge chairs fashion a high-end look that is bathed in light from fabulously huge windows. Home lighting is carefully considered and atmospheric, providing each space with a cozy atmosphere and perfectly spotlighted features. House number one has an impressive conversation pit that sinks into the poolside patio, and a formal outdoor dining room. The swimming pool at home number two comes rushing up toward the living room window to create a sparkling blue reflection.

A modular sofa arrangement forms a three-sided configuration at the heart of this sleek living room. The formation is held together on a rich brown area rug. A brown marble coffee table tucks in close to the seating.

The slimline living room floor lamp that stands beside the modular sofa is the Sampei, designed by Davide Groppi and Enzo Calabrese.

A linear modern fireplace and a suspended TV mount extend outwards from a structural support column. They form a brief room divide between the living room and the kitchen. Because the room divider has open sections, the fireplace can be enjoyed from both sides.

An elegant staircase climbs through the living room, ascending beside dual story windows. Its glass sides and open treads allow natural daylight and the garden view to flow through it. A small courtyard area is planted underneath.

Track lights evenly illuminate the full length of the large living room. Modern pendant lights hang low through the staircase void.

On the opposite side of the TV mount/fireplace room divider, a second, smaller sitting area is arranged beside the window. Another small courtyard area grows behind the modern couch, which forms a fresh link with the garden. A round coffee table stands between the white sofa and a cozy brown accent chair.

Rotatable wooden fins form a light permeable room divider between the primary sitting area and a formal dining room.

Contemporary ceiling lights are grouped in an artistic formation above the dining set. They form five bright inverted arches of varying sizes and lengths in a layered effect.

The black marble dining table sets down a solid anchor in the open plan dining space. Ten upholstered dining chairs contrast the black table with a rich brown colorway.

Black bar stools pull up at a gray marble kitchen island.

An eye-catching linear suspension light spreads illumination across the kitchen island and breakfast bar. It also adds a rich brown accent flash.

The ceiling is wood clad, which builds deep visual warmth and attractive texture.

A wooden deck works around the edge of the swimming pool. A lattice outdoor dining table and a set of eight modern outdoor chairs make up a formal al fresco eating area.

Sun loungers face the clear blue water, where the homeowners can jump in for a quick, cooling dip.

In the master bedroom, warming brown accents are brought by a wingback chair, ottoman, and a matching upholstered bed.

The upholstered bed is teamed with a grand, white marble headboard wall. The marble wall stops just short of the ceiling, which allows light to flow into a dressing area behind it.

The bedroom window lies beyond a glass wall ensuite bathroom. LED strips brighten the perimeter of the bedroom and draw attention to a textured border of wooden slats.

A flatweave rug thinly softens the floor around the bed.

A wooden vanity unit and an illuminated round mirror is mounted to the back of the marble headboard feature wall. A bouclé vanity stool complements the mirror’s curves.

The walk in wardrobe is generously sized. Glass-fronted units line the walls, warmly illuminated from within. An ottoman provides a place to throw down outfits and to put on shoes.

Black marble accents cut through the primary bathroom. White marble displays spectacular veining across the walls.

In our second featured home, a large area rug pulls together a selection of linear beige and brown sofas, and two stylish lounge chairs.

A low coffee table is placed at the core of the living room furniture layout. Its dark finish makes a bold statement amongst the lighter elements.

Huge windows open up the living space to a dual aspect view of the garden and the swimming pool.

Two Sampei floor lamps add focussed task lighting close to the seating, while track lights provide wide spread illumination. Deep brown wood slatted paneling and a smooth beige overlay construct the TV wall.

A mini botanical arrangement and a small stack of coffee table books form the coffee table centerpiece.

Brown accent cushions scatter dark intervals over the pale sofas and lounge chairs.

Large format floor tiles add to the sense of space in the open plan living room.

Rotating panels mark a visual divide between the sitting area and the formal dining room. The upholstered dining chairs complement the lounge furniture with their beige and brown colorway.

A dining room rug keeps the eating area anchored in the open plan layout. Modern wall lights and a backlit glass cabinet create a moody glow.
