After a period of limited activity on the Allotment related to covid restrictions, the site is in need of some TLC. There is lots to do to, both in the community growing area and in the mini-orchard on the main field. Everybody is invited to come and help us, and we hope to see some new faces amongst the familiar ones. We’ve missed having lots of people coming on to the site and we hope lots of you will take advantage of the benefits of the fresh air and exercise on offer. Just what the Doctor ordered!  Please bring a packed lunch and we will provide hot drinks.

We are also planning to restart our veg box scheme, where people agree to donate £7 a week to the upkeep of the allotment during the season, and we will thank you by providing a weekly veg box containing our lovely organically-grown produce.

Volunteers are always welcome to join our regular sessions on the allotment which at the moment are Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10.30 am until around 2.00 pm. These sessions are also an opportunity to see permaculture in action and learn about permaculture in practice.
