Renewable energy advisory DNG GL has called for more sophisticated reliability testing for new and novel materials being deployed in the renewable energy sector. Alternative semiconductor technology, such as perovskites, and innovative battery chemistries will be required if the Paris climate goals are to be met, the international advisory group argues.
