As part of our commitment to recycling plastics within the UK, we have invested in new technology to help us grade for onward manufacture. To enable complete recovery we have now begun the installation of our own plastic board manufacturing facility.
Designed to take the worst plastic residues and the materials often deemed unrecyclable, this system gives us total in-house recovery, 100% landfill diversion and also reduces reliance on incineration.
From MRF residues, pre and post consumer packaging such as crisp packets and food wrappers to ocean and beach clean waste – we will be able to make products from all these items. We’ve also invested in workshops in Leeds and Hull to produce our own branded line of finished goods and services.
Complete closed loop system, with UK investment and UK jobs.
