Less than a month after it was reported that Davidson, 29, and girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders, 27, had gone their separate ways after nearly a year together, the born-and-raised Staten Islander appears to be involved in another relationship.
The former “Saturday Night Live” star is officially dating “Outer Banks” Actress Madelyn Cline, multiple sources confirmed to People.
“Pete and Madelyn are dating. They spent the night together at the Beverly Hills Hotel and then had breakfast together there the next morning,” a source told Us Weekly. “They were really low-key and kept things casual, wearing baseball hats.”
Cline, 25, previously dated her “Outer Banks” costar, Chase Stokes. Despite breaking up in 2021, the two have continued to play love interests on the Netflix show.
In addition to “Outer Banks,” Cline has starred in “Glass Onion” as well as Staten Island filmmaker James DeMonaco’s film, “This is the Night,” a film he crafted as an ode to both his home borough and his love for cinema.
Davidson and Wonders broke up five months after they were involved in a car crash in Beverly Hills. In that incident, Davidson was allegedly behind the wheel of a Mercedes and driving through the Flats neighborhood. As a result, he entered an 18-month-long diversion program and complete 50 hours of community service.
Davidson has been romantically linked to a number of celebrities, including Cazzie David, daughter of “Curb Your Enthusiam” and “Seinfeld” creator, Larry David, and reality star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian, with whom he broke up in August 2022.
Davidson also dated — and was engaged briefly to — singer Ariana Grande.
The comedian talked recently about the tabloid interest in his love-life during an interview on the Real Ones With Jon Bernthal podcast.
“I’m in my 20′s and I’ve dated people. And for some reason, that’s very crazy and interesting to people. I don’t think it’s interesting,” Davidson said. “I’ve been in show business for, like, half my life almost — for 14 or 15 years and on a national TV show. In 12 years I’ve dated 10 people. I don’t think that’s that crazy, but to some people, that’s very interesting. That became all anyone would talk about.”
“I’m not, like, flexing, you know what I mean? And these people that I’ve dated, I met them at work,” he added. “I wasn’t in anyone’s DMs, no one was in mine. I worked at one of the five Hollywood epicenters of where you meet people and that’s how it happened.”
In 2018, Davidson broke his silence about his breakup with Ariana Grande, for which he spent $93,000 on a three-carat engaement ring. Grande reportedly gave the ring back to Davidson after the split.
