Oladeinde Agbon, a Nigerian Filmmaker known as Orisa, has criticized Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo for appropriating Yoruba culture.

Orisa shared images of Adebayo in Mecca during Ramadan, accusing him of hypocrisy for using Yoruba tradition as a movie storyline while practicing a different Religion.

He suggested that the actor should feature Prophet Muhammad in his next film to see if it would be as successful.

“Worshipping the Arab god after making mad money from telling a story from isese.

Baba abeg next time na Prophet Muhammad story make you make into a movie for us, make we see how much an Arab story will fetch you”.

However, Adebayo received support from internet users who slammed the filmmaker.
