IWSG Embrace Criticism

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Hello friends. (smile) It’s the first Wednesday, of the month, where the Insecure Writer’s Support Group (IWSG) share and support one another. Welcome Alex and November IWSG Co-hosts: Tonja Drecker, Diane Burton,  MJ Fifield, and Rebecca Douglass!

This month, I share encouragement to embrace criticism. Criticism is useful when motives are right. Accept or reject is a choice.

Sometimes, criticism can be brutal. Sometimes, we internalize or overthink criticism. There are times, criticism helps.

Removing feelings from the equation, realizes criticism does not change who we are or our abilities.

Here is the take away, when you know who you are and your abilities, hearing or reading criticism can be embraced. It’s an acquired process.

The upside to criticism:

Count it all joy – continues to try
Run with patience your race – perseverance
I can do all things through Christ – endures
To everything, there is a season – resilience
Iron sharpenenth iron – mentally strong
Continue in faith – abides
Inner man strength – abounding
Strong in The Lord – maintains
More than a conqueror – survivor

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord. Enjoy the rest of your week!

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)
