There’s something so special about a beautifully designed chair. It elevates the functional into high style and creates an element of design out of something so simple as a place to rest.

Every other week, I share design finds I love. This week’s Design Crush is from Bolier, the Richard Mishaan Collection’s Demi Wing Chair and ottoman. It takes a classic style, a wing chair, and pares it down to a more contemporary look with clean lines and leather covering. What a distinctive silhouette! This armless chair features traditional appointments like deck molding and welted cushions, but its profile makes it fresh, and the upholstered back bordered in the same deep wood as the base is a beautiful touch.
