- Oh my god, I absolutely adored A Quiet Kind of Thunder by Sara Barnard! The romance was beautiful, and as someone who suffers with anxniety, I can say the representation of anxiety was just brilliant! I loved learning more about selective mutism, and what it can be like to be a deaf person in a hearing world. So much diversity in this book, too! Just wonderful!
- Not If I See You First by Eric Lindstrom is absolutely incredible! I learnt so much, but more than that, this is just such an awesome story. Parker is such a sparky character, and she won't take any crap from people treating her differently because she's blind. She's dealing with a lot, with the death of her father, her aunt and her family moving in, but even so, this isn't as heavy as you'd think it is. Such a wonderful story!
