Badges & Banners Bundle with the Best Badge Punch

I’m so excited to be sharing some fun projects featuring the Badges & Banners Bundle paired with the Best Badge Punch.  There are three cards along with a card box that I’ve created.  I had so much fun using this stamp set and am planning a card class around this awesome set.  Truthfully, you do not want to wait to buy this stamp set!

Project #1 – Enjoy Your Day Best Badge Horizontal Card

This is a fun card featuring the Badges & Banner Stamp Set using Tempting Turquoise. Now, Stampin’ Up! offers great tools such as the coordinating Best Badge Punch which is used to punch out the Enjoy Your Day image.

The colors are bright, cheerful and fun…  Perfect for a birthday card. When creating cards, use coordinating colors such as the provided in the Brights Collection.  Stampin’ Up! does a great job of making it easy to choose colors that look awesome together. Most noteworthy, products such as the Brights Designer Series Paper Pack and the Brights Sequins provide you with options.

On the card front, I stamped a background using the Touches of Texture Stamp Set with Smoky Slate and Real Red.  Next, I added a Real Red banner using the Banner Triple Punch and the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack.

In addition, I added silver glitter to the card front by “splashing” Multipurpose Liquid Glue mixed with water then sprinkling Silver Glitter onto the card.  Continuing with the silver theme, I also added Silver Thread behind the badge.  Finally, the stars from the Brights Sequin Assortment finishes the card.

Project #2 – Enjoy Your Day Best Badge Vertical Card

On the card front, I stamped a Tempting Turquoise background using the Touches of Texture Stamp Set.  The badge is stamped with using the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

I added silver glitter to the card front using the “splashing” technique.  I love how silver adds texture and glitz to the card.  Therefore, I also added Silver Thread behind the badge.  Finally, I strategically placed “random” White Perfect Accents on the card front.

Project #3 – A Little Hello Best Badge Card

If you haven’t used the Ombre stamp pads yet, I highly recommend buying one to start playing NOW!  I stamped the badge using the Bermuda Bay Ombre Stamp Pad.  The banner is stamped with Melon Mambo and attached to the banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Next, I added a piece of the Delicate White Doilies and Black Metallic Thread.  I love the Metallic Threads offered by Stampin’ Up!

Washi Tape is another fun product!  The Pop of Pink Washi Tape was perfect for this card.  First, I used the black washi tape then overlapped it with Melon Mambo washi tape.  Next, I added Bermuda Bay enamel shapes from the Brights Enamel Shapes collection.  Finally, the card front is attached to a layer of Bermuda Bay Brights Designer Series Paper Stack.

Project #4 – A Little Hello Best Badge Card Box

I love making card boxes using the Envelope Punch Board!  They make great gifts and easily hold four cards along with envelopes.

So, I’ve opted to use Bermuda Bay Brights Designer Series Paper Stack for the box.  Because there is an envelope flap, I prefer to create a belly band to keep the box closed.  I used a coordinating pattern for the Belly Band which is also from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack.  Next, I stamped the badge with the Bermuda Bay Ombre Ink and the banner with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The banner is punched out with the Duet Banner Punch.  Finally, I attached Black Metallic Thread behind the banner.

So, check back tomorrow for a tutorial on how to make the Envelope Punch Board Card Box!
