Jeremy Goldsmith, who runs Mountfitchet Castle, a Norman castle and museum, took in an orphaned fallow Deer named Ziggy. The fawn, believed to be two months old, was found on the side of a road after its mother was hit by a car. Ziggy quickly bonded with Goldsmith's 11-month-old daughter and now they spend hours together, with the fawn being well-fed and living with a herd of five fallow deer at the castle. Ziggy cannot be released back into the wild as she is too tame and not scared of people.
