Maharashtra: Widows of Seven Martyred Soldiers Receive Land Allotment Letters in Thane District

During a "Revenue Week" program in Maharashtra's Thane District, land allotment letters were distributed to seven widows of martyred soldiers. The program was organized by the Thane district collectorate and the Zilla Sainik Welfare Office. The families of the martyred soldiers will each receive 1.6 hectares of land. The allotment had been pending since 2019, according to Major (Rtd) Pranjal Jadhav, the district sainik welfare officer.
