A 95-year-old Wwii Veteran named Kevin Topham became the first person to dance at a newly-reopened nightclub in Nottinghamshire, 74 years after meeting his wife there. The nightclub, formerly known as the Corn Exchange, was a popular spot for servicemen in the 1940s. Kevin noticed the venue was reopening and asked his caregiver, Donna Harvey, to take him dancing. The club owner allowed them to come in early and Kevin danced to the song "Chattanooga Choo Choo" by the Glenn Miller Orchestra. The event was described as heartwarming and the club is now considering having monthly events for older members of the community.
