Gillian Keegan insists teachers saying ‘good morning, girls’ is ‘absolutely fine’

The Education Secretary, Gillian Keegan, has said that teachers in girls' schools are allowed to say "good morning, girls" to the pupils in their classes. Ms Keegan is concerned about the wellbeing of all of the pupils in these schools, and believes that "good morning, girls" is a suitable greeting for these classes. The Education Secretary is working on new transgender guidance for schools, which will provide guidance on how to be sensitive to the different genders and sex identities of pupils.
