Losing touch with the humor of life itself.
I can no longer put up with the disconnected, doomsday, off-the-grid mentality. It’s not that I don’t appreciate the information shared, but it always comes from some witless wonder who has lost touch with the humor of life itself. Learn to laugh at the comedy and tragedy of life. After all, you are the one who contributed to such tragedy as you preach down from on high about how much better and smarter you are now. Learn to laugh at the deadpan comedy you have evolved into and created around you at the expense of your own decapitated sense of humor.
Consider this. What, exactly, do you think you are preparing yourself for? Remember, the only ones to truly flourish in your cherished and Sanctimonious Armageddon are the cockroaches who become the brutal, power-hungry, totalitarian dictators of some morbidly romanticized holocaust. Do you really think nirvana or paradise is waiting for you on the other side of a CME, asteroid hit, viral outbreak, or nuclear warfare? It’s not. I won’t even get into all the subhuman misanthropes and parasitic bottom feeders you will be outnumbered by. And, if history has taught us anything, it’s that the stockpiled ammo will always run out as the tyrant’s minions swarm like a horde of locusts into your prestigious survivalist encampment.
Live your life! It doesn’t last for very long and there are no guarantees even under the social morays of current civilian lifestyles. Appreciate what you have now because, in truth, you cannot take it with you. As for all the prepping you are doing, it will only serve to guarantee the megalomania of misguided tyrants, their real estate interests, and the marauding sadism of an oppressive regime in the aftermath of a worshipped, glorified, and mythological global meltdown. As Joan Rivers would say, “Get a grip!”
