Redmi Note 10 Lineup Launched — Starts at Rs. 11,999

The Redmi Note 10 hype has finally materialized after tons of leaks and speculations. The Redmi Note 10 lineup consists of 3 models — Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro and the big boy Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. Let’s take an overview of the models.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and Note 10 Pro

The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and Redmi Note 10 Pro sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The display panel also supports a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and has an HDR-10 certification. Moreover, there’s a tiny punch hole cutout at the top housing a 16MP sensor with the “tiniest” cutout, 2.96mm in diameter, for selfies.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro brothers are powered by 8nm Snapdragon 732G SoC coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. On the GPU front, Adreno 618 does work. Both of them run MIUI 12 on top of Android 11 out of the box.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max differ in the rear camera front. The cheaper Note 10 Pro comes with a 64MP primary sensor alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera (118-degree FOV) and a 2MP depth sensor. The Redmi Note 10 Pro brothers also feature a 5MP Super-Macro camera. The more expensive Note 10 Pro Max ditches the 64MP sensor for a 108MP sensor. This 3rd gen 108MP sensor uses ISOCELL Plus, Smart-ISO technology and large 2.1µm pixels for better dynamic range and improved low-light performance.

Both the devices retain the 3.5mm headphone jack and IR blaster. The super AMOLED display upfront is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The rear too is glass and has a textured finish with a frosted finish.

The Redmi Note 10 is the least expensive and practically the entry-level model in the Note 10 lineup.

The Redmi Note 10 features the 11nm Snapdragon 678 under the hood. It will be coupled with 4GB/6GB  LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 Storage. The Redmi Note 10 takes power from a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It can go from 0-67% in 30 mins.
