The San Francisco Matrix video comes from the set of the Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves meeting as Trinity and Neo for the first time in 6 years.  Details about the plot of the film are still mostly unknown.  When the project was first announced, there were rumors that Morpheus would be remade as a younger version of the character, but anything beyond this is pure speculation at this time.

A script directed by Lana Wachowski in which she wrote alongside Alexander Heiman and David Mitchell, the film will also feature Yahya Abdul-Metten II, Jonathan Groff, Toby Onwumere, Erandira Ibara, Neil Patrick Harris, and Jessica Henwick.  Jada Pinkett, last seen in The Matrix: Reloaded, returns to the franchise with Moss and Reeves.  However, the original cast of Hago Weaving and Lawrence Fishburne are sitting him down, which leads many to wonder how Agent Smith and Morpheus can influence the film.  These answers may not come, but recent leaks confirm that Trinity and Neo will meet.

Another important detail: Trinity has modified its characteristic black leather look, but Reeves Neo has more in common with John Wick than his appearance in the original trilogy.  The new appearance of Neo and the rumor of the young Morpheus may indicate that their roles in the life of the other will be exchanged for The Matrix 4.

Matrix 4 arrived in theaters on May 21, 2021, the same day John Wick: Chapter 4 is scheduled to arrive.  So, perhaps, Reeve’s wick appearance has a big but obvious meaning.  With filming, anxious fans can expect smaller details to be revealed over time, and the first glimpse of official images has begun a countdown.  Until then, anxious filmmakers will have to discover the plot for themselves, using their imagination to fill future videos and spaces.
