Star Trek Star Patrick Stewart: We Are About To Disappear

At 79, Sir Patrick Stewart plays Jean-Luc Picard and boldly goes nowhere to the Captain of the USS Enterprise, his own Star Trek-derived show.

But it was the land issues that most dealt with him at the London premiere of the new Star Trek series: Picard on Wednesday night, where he described Brexit as “the most important thing” in his political life.

After being part of Picard when Star Trek: The Next Generation arrived on the screens in 1987, the new web television series saw him return to paper after an 18-year.

Stewart says he met the producers of the new show to be face to face, only to discover his thoughts on how convincing the character of Jean-Luc Picard had developed. “I began to feel that I had to do something and what a smart decision. There was a quality about Jean-Luc Picard that I thought from the beginning that was different from any of my previous acting experiences. ”

The actor, who has expressed his opposition to Brexit, has lost plans to try to obtain U.S. citizenship to vote against Donald Trump. Speaking on the Star Trek-themed white carpet outside the event in Leicester Square, London, he said: “I think we have our own Trump in our country today, so I use my vote to try to get rid of him. He will do.”

Star Trek: Picard strives to be the best of both worlds for old and new hikers. Bring back some very beloved characters, which perhaps aroused the interest of the 90’s generation that was left on the road. But it also places them firmly in today’s Star Trek universe, with the kind of cinematography and elegant special effects you’d expect from a high-budget production made for the era of the TV broadcast.

And to celebrate the launch, the Piccadilly Circus station of the London Underground was re-launched as the ‘ard Picard-illy circus’, complete with the Starfleet insignia on the grand rounds.

While Stewart may be very distressed by Brexit, his old friend Sir Ian McKellen took his spirit, who jokingly proposed it outside the premiere.

Jerry Ryan, repeating his role of Seven of Nine in the new show, said: “old fans will be happy and those who don’t think they want to see Star Trek will be impressed.”
