Including John Constantine getting success on TV, with Matt Ryan Performing the character over the Arrowverse, now looks like the right time for the Hellblazer to return to theater screens. The last time he starred in his own film was 2005’s Constantine, which was originally wrecked for the outrageous changes it made to the character.

DC followers have come to look fondly on the movie and it’s become a strong cult preferred.

His original film finished solidly at the box office, after all, collecting around $230 million through that clearly wasn’t enough to justify a sequel. And you can trust that nowadays it would make a load more, regarding the “Reevesnaissance” and the wave of comic book cinema.

Over the years, though, DC followers have come to look fondly on the movie and it’s become a Strong Cult Preferred. Especially as the internet’s popular hero Keanu Reeves is in the role. So, it might still be in Warner Bros.’ best matters to get Reeves back in the position. In fact, you may know that we’ve earlier reported that the studio is thinking to call the John Wick star back to perform Constantine in the DCEU.

What’s more, is that according to sources the same people who told Robert Pattinson had knocked out Nicholas Hoult for the character of Batman and that The CW was forming an Arrow spinoff – if Reeves was taken aboard, the idea would be to take the role related to how Fox handled Deadpool.

Though the prequel was moved, Reynolds was praised as a perfect bit of part. Fast forward to 2016, then, and the actor was back as Wade Wilson, albeit a slightly different version, separated from Origins. So, this is how it’d be if Reeves performed Constantine again the same character, same actor but a different emphasis.
