It seems like our very own Jonathan Groff has landed a role in the upcoming action film Matrix4. Jonathan Groff is known for his role as Agent Holden Ford on Netflix’s Mindhunter and also voices Kristoff in Disney’s blockbuster Frozen franchise. He is the new addition in the already interesting cast of the film.

Groff’s role is under wraps for now and nothing much is revealed about the role. Considering his earlier roles as agent Holden Ford, we won’t be surprised if he plays the role of a suit-clad agent. The casting so far in the film is turning out to be quite an interesting one.

Furthermore, Matrix 4 seems to be having rather diverse and inclusive cast members. The cast involves our protagonist Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will return in their roles as Neo and Trinity, while Aquaman villain Yahya Abdul-Mateen is joining the film franchise as a lead.

The Star Cast Looks Quite Promising And Interesting.

Other than that Jada Pinkett Smith will also be back as Niobe, while the latest sequel has also added Jessica Henwick and Neil Patrick Harris, where the latter of whom is rumored to play a villain. Groff is the openly gay actor to join the film cads after Neil Patrick Harris. The cast promises quite an adventurous ride for fans it seems.

The filming might kick start from next year, it was rumored that the release date might get delayed due to Keanu’s tight schedule and his commitments to other projects. The filming is rumored to start in Chicago. Warner Bros. has not revealed any official release date for the film. Fans are already looking to the movie and some kick-ass action done by our main man Keanu Reeves and others.
