That’s What Free Guy Is All About With Ryan Reynolds
In Free Guy Ryan Reynolds plays a (maybe a bit too) good-natured bank employee. While he seems to be accustomed to all the strange incidents in his immediate environment, such as daily bank robberies, he comes across the terrible truth one day: he’s a character in a video game that’s about to go offline too.
Along with other allies, Reynolds’ character sets in counter-attack and whirls the world, which is reminiscent of an open-world game à la Grand Theft Auto, on.
Ryan Reynolds Has Thrown Himself Into Free Guy With Complete Conviction
As Entertainment Weekly reports, Ryan Reynolds enthusiastically commented on his involvement in Free Guy at the Fox panel of the New York Comic Con :
“I have not been so absorbed in anything since Deadpool. I think we are living in really strange times right now. You look at the news and the top story today is, ‘It’s the end of the world.’ I felt a kinship with the character because sometimes you can feel like a background figure yourself. The world is turned upside down and you have no control over what happens.”
