1. Alcazaba de Málaga
It is one of the old Moorish Castles that were rebuilt in the 11th century. During this time, it was more of the Muslim ruling center.
It was more comfortable because it is located at the top of Mount Gibralfaro, which gives the people a surveillance point.
This castle itself has 110 towers and three defense wall circuits. However, most of them have been locked for safety purposes. You will then only be in a position to access three of them. 2. Picasso Museum Malaga
If you happen to be an art fanatic, then you should have heard of the name Pablo Ruiz Picasso by now. Not only is he known for his art in Malaga, but this is also his birth home. There are over 230 works of his that have been placed in this place.
The museum happens to be in the Buenavista Palace, which is also adorned with artistic works from the fact that it was built under the Andalusian Architecture.

3. Catedral de la Encarnación de Málaga
The cathedral was constructed for so many years between the 16th and 18th centuries. However, even after this long time, only the northern tower was completed thoroughly. It, therefore, carries a lot of weight in the historical essence that it gives the town.
It has a lovely Baroque façade and frescos inside that just complements the whole place. You will also get to see some of the sculpture work that was done and preserved by the famous Pedro de Mena.

4. Roman Theatre
At the foot of the Alcazaba, there is an old roman theatre that is more like ruins at this time. This theatre has a strong representation of the traditional theatre architecture with the grand entrance and the tiered seats. It is one of the perfect places to take pictures that would resemble the old times.
It stopped being in use in the 3rd century when there was a need to use the building material that was found in this place by the Arabs. 5. Castillo de Gibralfaro
It is one of the castles that are found over the Alcazaba. It was built in the 11th century by the then Caliph of Cordoba. It was subsequently enlarged in the 14th century giving it the title the Famous Three-Month Siege Castle by the catholic monarchs.
The historical value of this place is what attracts many people to it. The ruins and the panoramic scenery gives it that gothic taste that many people seem to love. 6. Tivoli world
Tivoli World is an amusement park that is located in the center of Malaga city. It is the perfect place to come and have fun, especially if you happen to have come with your children on this trip. 7. Mercado Central de Atarazanas
It is the oldest marketplace for people. It is also known for its horseshoe-shaped Islamic gateway and the fact that it is the only remaining part of the Moorish shipyard. Its 14th-century taste amazes people, mainly since it is still functioning today.
Visit it in the morning when the product is still very fresh, and people are livelier. 8. Port of Malaga

10. Historico la Concepcion botanical garden
This was a garden that was built by the Marquis and Marchioness of Loring in the 1850s. The garden has been designed to be able to hold plant species from the Mediterranean, tropical and even subtropical climates. Several bird species roam around in the garden too.
It also offers exceptional landscapes and romantic style gardens that have provided perfect grounds for picnics and even for occasions or parties. 11. Palacio de la Aduana
The customs house, as it is also known as is the customs house for the port of Malaga. It was built in the 1790s. It went through a long time of damage and repair during the war until it was finally completed in 1829. Currently, it is entirely transformed into a museum with so many renovations taking place in several areas of the building.
The pride in this building is the architecture that it has. It has bossed exterior walls and towering palm trees that flank the main façade. There is a central patio that has four corridors that are porticoed for two floors. At some point in the 19th century, it became the royal tobacco house and also a ruling house for the government.

12. Malaga National Park
The park is one of the smaller parks located in Malaga. The mayor of Malaga named it at that time. Instituted in 1897, the 33 ha land was open to the public for them to enjoy the fantastic array of gardens, fountains, and sculptures. This is one of the few parks close to the city itself.
It is located between the Paseo de las Curas and Paseo del Parque streets that make it quite accessible by many of the people who are in Malaga. 13. Montes de Malaga Natural Park
It is found around 25km to the north of the city, and it is the most serene place that you would ever get to. Covering over 5000ha of land, there are hiking trails for both bikes and walks that just give you so much space for you to see almost every inch of the park. 14. Centre Pompidou Malaga
Art has always been a significant point for many people. This art center is, therefore, one of the places you should visit, which houses contemporary art displayed in dogs with glass cubes.

15. Playa de la Misericordia
Coming to Malaga is all about the beach and the wonderful water life that is available here. You will then need to know the best beach and why it is the best. Just to give you the best holiday that you are having.
It has unique black sand that spreads over 1200 meters of length. Unlike many of the other beaches, you will notice that the tides here are more moderate a relative compared to the others you can then walk around at any time without fear of being washed away.
There is also an old chimney that is visible from this beach. With its powerful sense, it makes the beach seem less crowded and, therefore, more relaxing, especially if you feel like you need to have some space for yourself.
