Huawei IFA 2019 event scheduled to happen on September 6

Huawei finally confirms its IFA 2019 event to happen on September, 6 in Berlin, Germany. However, the company didn’t give hint to launch any particular product, but the slogan reads it “Think Evolutionally.” Last year, the company had announced HiSilikon Kirin 980 chipset at the same event, therefore, we can expect to see its successor speculated to be called HiSilicon Kirin 990.

It is rumored to be built on TSMS’s 7nm EUV process and relatively more powerful CPU and GPU. Indeed, we aren’t going to see revolutionary changes in Kirin 990 over Kirin 980, which also justifies with the company’s slogan.

A report from Neowin claims that it will support 4K video recording @30fps, which is pretty much possible. Furthermore, we can see some other interesting product to be announced on IFA, 2019. Recently, LG had teased a dual-display foldable smartphone to be launched on August 6. Nokia parent company HMD Global is also taking part in this event for the first time, so we can see some products from Nokia as well.

Apart from that, Sony is also rumored to launch a new smartphone at IFA, 2019. All in all, IFA is a good trade show for consumer electronics, where different companies showcase their products. We can see more announcements from different smartphones brands to launch their products in the coming days.
