Epic Games is planning to introduce the Cosmic Summer event to Fortnite with an upcoming update. Apart from the live event and a host of other stuff, there are various new skins coming to the shop. While some of these include revamped versions of popular old skins, there are a few crossover skins too.

Mostly, all the new skins include normal characters in swimsuits and shorts. There is a beach vibe going on in Fortnite ahead of the summer event. Moreover, with the Fourth of July also around the corner, Epic also plans to introduce a festive skin. Finally, the live event might give players a sneak peek into the mothership as well, the interiors of which have also been leaked.

Armored Batman and Thanos make their way to Fortnite

Epic Games had already added a Batman bundle to Fortnite previously. However, according to images from various Twitter users, an armored version of the Batman skin might soon arrive at the item shop. The Armored Batman Zero skin somewhat resembles the suit Robert Pattinson will don for the upcoming Batman movie.

Apart from Batman, another popular comic book character arrives at Fortnite. The Battle Royale game has seen a plethora of marvel heroes and anti-heroes arrive at the islands as NPCs and stay as skins. However, one skin that has never appeared in the shop has been the ‘Mad-Titan’ Thanos. Fortunately, this ends now as Thanos finally arrives as a character skin in the game.

As for the Fourth of July, Epic Games plans to release a Firecracker bundle. This would include a firecracker character skin, a glider, a harvesting tool, and a wrap.

Midas and Brutus also get a summer makeover

Midas and Brutus are ready to take a stroll on the beach as both the popular Fortnite characters get a new makeover. They both get new beach outfits with shorts and t-shirts, depending on the styles players choose for them. Moreover, they also come with their own items, such as harvesting tools and gliders.

The update also includes various other summer skins, all to set the tone for the update, which is going to be a welcome party for the aliens. Many feel that it’s going to be yet another concert, similar to the likes of the ones hosted by Marshmello and Travis Scott previously. Therefore, players can show up in their favorite summer outfits and make the best out of this concert.
