How to Install a Wall Safe
Installing a wall safe is easy. It is likely to only take an hour to install one unless you have brick walls, in which case it’s a big job. All the safes in this review fit into in stud drywalls. They are the right size to fit the 16 standard inches between the studs. Here are the steps for installing an in-wall safe in your home.
1. Locate the Studs
A wall safe fits between the studs. So, you before you can start, you must locate the studs in your wall. You can do this by tapping the wall and listening for the change in sound. Or, you can buy an electronic wall stud locator.
2. Mark Out and Cut a Hole to Size
