Best Backpacks to Buy in 2020

Hi everybody, today I’m gonna show you the three best Backpacks that you can get in 2020.

There are a few features that I always look for in my backpacks.
First the front-loading:
I want to make sure that the backpack can open like a suitcase so that you can get all your stuff easily. And the second is the size:
We want to make sure that you can carry on your bag when you go onto flights, that’s a big deal and I’ll explain later. So before you read this article I just
wanted to say that I’ve tried many backpacks in my life. I backpacked all over the world and I think I have finally found the backpacks that do everything that I
think a backpack should do and so I want to help you out because it takes a lot of time and effort to pick out a backpack. You don’t know what size you
want, you don’t know the cost, the brand and goes on, but I’m going to help you with all of these.

All right so let’s introduce you to the three backpacks. First is the Nomatic, second is the Redwing 50 and the
third is the Motherlode.

• Let’s start with the Nomatic. The one that I am using right now.
What I love about the nomatic is that it’s minimal, it’s the stylish look and it’s the perfect size for carry-on, so you’ll never have to check this bag because it fits perfectly on
all the airlines. Also, a feature that I really like about this bag is that it opens from the back, so this is where you put your back,so it just shows that
there’s some extra security as people can’t really open it because you can only open it after you take it off. Also, this bag is completely waterproof. The nomatic is 40 liters
so it is perfect. I always look for backpacks between 40 and 55 liters. Something else that I really like about this bag is that at the bottom it opens and you have a shoe
compartment where you can put your shoes. A lot of bags don’t have that and you always have to get a shoe bag or something to keep your shoe kind of
separate. The last one that I really want to share with you is that it has an RFID safe pocket so you can put your passport, your credit cards and things
that you want to keep very safe.

The nomatic for the price gets a six. It’s a little bit steep as it’s the most expensive bag from the three. For the size gets a ten, it’s a perfect size. 40
liters I think is the absolute perfect size. For backpacker features, it gets a 10. It’s minimal, its sleek, its well-designed, it has extra features that
I haven’t seen in other bags. For security, it also gets a ten. For quality, I give a 10. It is a high-quality bag it’s made with good
materials and I feel like I could travel with this for many years and it’s not gonna break. For comfort, I give an 8. The reason is that it’s not really designed
specifically for your back in any way. So unlike the Kelty which we’ll be introduced in a while and a lot of the other backpacks that they have a
specific material made to support your back this bag is minimal. But to be honest you don’t need that unless you’re going backpacking like hiking through the mountains with your backpack.

• Next is the Kelty Redwing 50.
I used this as I backpacked through Asia and it was perfect. This bag is front-loading but not completely. It stops at around three-quarters of the way down.
So, it does kind of open like a suitcase which is great but it does not load fully like the other two backpacks.
It’s 50 liters which means that it’s on the larger side which a lot of people will like but to use this as a carry-on on an airplane you’re just gonna have to make it look small and
you’re gonna have to get past people. I actually probably took 10 flights with this bag and only once did I have to check it in because they really looked
at it and they check the dimensions and the weight and everything but most of the time you’ll get by. The best part about this bag is it has a lot of support at the back so
this bag is the most comfortable of the three. It has also a nice mesh material so that air can get through. The price of the Kelty Redwing 50 is very good and I will give it an 8.
For the size, I will give a 7 because it’s a 50 liter. It’s a little bit on the larger side. For the features, I give it a 7. It doesn’t have a lot of extra features
and things that you want but you have the easy access pocket with the miscellaneous pockets in the front which are really nice to hold everything and
then just the back support it’s great. For security, I give a 7. There are zippers on the side without this little extra part that you
need in order to lock them. Generally, it’s good enough but it’s not amazing. About quality, I give a 10, Kelty is a really good brand. Again the quality of the back is amazing, the
quality of all the materials is just perfect.

• Last but definitely not least is the eBags Motherlode. It is a bag that I used all around Europe and I loved it so much. Again this is completely front-loading with space to keep your
laundry separate from the rest of the bag. The absolute best part of this bag is that it has an extra secret zipper, so you unzip
it all the way around and voila this bag has just expanded. So look you get all this extra space (about two inches extra space all around the bag). This
bag goes from about 45 liters to about 60 liters so you can zip that up and make it really small when you leave for your trip but then when you have extra
stuff like souvenirs and extra clothes from wherever you travel to, you can just expand it and you have a bigger bag.
Something I used a lot with this bag is the straps on the side, once it’s full you strap all of these down and then you pull them as tight as
you can and that will collapse your bag and make it as small as possible. So if your bag is full and it’s starting to look like a big bag that you might have
to check in on the airplane because it’s huge then you just strap all of these up and then compress it down with all your might and it’ll get smaller and it’ll
look like a little bag. For the price I give a 10, it’s a hundred dollars and that is the perfect price point for a backpack. For the size, I give an 11. I give an 11 because it
expands so you get two sizes in one backpack. About features I give an 8 it’s pretty minimal pretty sleek. A 7 for security and a 7 for quality. Its quality is decent. For comfort I give a 7, it’s very comfortable but I think that the back could use a little work.

So if you’re looking for a bag in 2020, I guarantee these are three of the best bags you can find.
Keep up and keep safe!
