Randy Rhoads would play his final concert with Ozzy Osbourne on Thursday, March 18, 1982, at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum. After the show, the band hopped on a tour bus headed to Florida. They were scheduled to perform at the Rock Super Bowl an outdoor music festival the following day in Orlando.

Twenty-Four hours later, a devastated Ozzy Osbourne would provide the following statement to state police. “At approximately 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 19, 1982, I was awoken from my sleep by a loud explosion. I immediately thought that we’d hit a vehicle on the road. I got out of the bed, screaming to my fiancée, Sharon, ‘Get off the bus.’ After departing, I saw that a plane had crashed.

What started out as an early morning joyride on a friend’s plane had quickly turned deadly. Three people would die in the fiery Plane Crash including lead guitarist, Randy Rhoads, as well as Rachel Youngblood, a cook for the Ozzy Osbourne band, and Andrew Aycock, the band’s bus driver.

Join us on a supernatural journey as we explore the short but explosive life of Randy Rhoads. We tour his musical history, investigate the mystical facts, and examine the mysterious death of one of greatest rock guitarists of all time.

This is Death by Misadventure.
